NBC 5 Chicago - REACH was one of eight lucky recipients of a 2024 NBCUniversal Local Impact Grant. NBC 5 Reporter Juan Carlos Navarrete shares the news during a morning broadcast. Each year our local Comcast Chicago, NBC Chicago, and Telemundo Chicago television stations fund organizations that are doing work in three specific areas: Youth Education and Empowerment, Next Generation Storytellers and Community Engagement. REACH will be using these funds to help purchase a new vehicle to transport our participants to and from outdoor learning activities and adventures.
